ARKAN - GRACEANNA ALLEGHENI AT SHAMWAKI Arkan was born on the 11th of November 2001, he is my first male Leonberger and is a delight to live with. His hip score is 2/5 and his elbow score is 0/0, eyes clear. Arkan has been character assessed by Neil Ewart of Guide Dogs for the Blind and his assessment was that Arkan is excellent. He has also been heart tested, with no problems found. As a puppy Arkan did very well in the show ring, his first championship show, aged 6 months, he was awarded Best Puppy in Breed, he has won numerous Best of Breeds at open shows and he does very well at championship shows around the country. In 2005 he won the high accolade of Best of Breed at the World's biggest dog show - Crufts.
